I’m Daria. I have lived in NYC for 20 years, and came from upstate NY prior to that - so I know this city and this state pretty damn well.

My qualifications? I am a licensed NYC tour guide, and I have been certified through a Tour Guide Certification Class at the Guides Association of New York City, where I currently serve as a secretary and newsletter editor.

My career background has mainly been in theater, concerts and events - the more backstage side of things (lighting, costumes, video, scenery, props) - and I have loved that life, but I’m loving being a tour guide even more. I get to meet people from all over the world, and I get to explore my favorite city through the lens of new-comers - and it’s amazing.

I specialize in the weirder and more avant-garde types of sites and shows in NYC - I love a quirky hidden museum, a funeral supplies store, a themed burlesque show, dark stories of the mafia and unsolved crimes, or an off-the-beaten path dining experience, and I want to share my unique finds with YOU!

When I’m not running my own tours, I work with Tasty Tours NYC, and Lincoln Center Tours.
